Anthony Pidgeon has been creating unique images of noteworthy people, places and events for magazines, PR firms and record companies for the past decade. With a background in photojournalism and rock-n-roll, he developed his editorial style by learning to light and shoot virtually everything. He freely incorporates ideas and styles across different genres, which gives his work a unique style. Anthony prefers to keep things simple and free-flowing. By focusing on connecting with the subject he is able to create uniquely personal images that relay a sense of greater intimacy with the individual or place being portrayed.

“I’m not a gear-hound. In fact, my preference is to keep things as simple and free flowing as possible, which often means a minimum of equipment. High-caliber shoots are often very brief due to scheduling/timing issues, so I generally prefer to do a simple, flexible lighting setup in advance, and spend the available shooting time establishing a connection with my subjects, focusing on finding creative ways to bring out and translate into a series of frozen moments what is unique and personal about them.”
