Axel Heimken
Axel is a sports photographer currently living in Telgte, Germany. He began photographing at the tender age of 14, which inspired him to study Visual Communications/Photography at the German Arts College in Dortmund. After assisting for a commercial photographer he went on to become a freelance photographer in the commercial world, as well as doing some shooting for regional newspapers. He is currently specializing in sports photography and has landed advertising assignments for Adidas and Asics.
